Students must wear the standard Academy uniform each day. The designated dress uniform will be worn for special events scheduled throughout the year (special meetings, programs, graduation, etc.)
Our uniform policy is designed to foster a dedicated and unified learning environment. As professionals in many fields of endeavor wear attire that befits their vocation, our students wear uniforms to remind them of their vocation as learners. Their shared appearance advances a sense of unity, reinforcing that they are a valued part of a team striving toward excellence.
Academy students wear uniforms to:
- Affirm the God-ordained differences between men and women
- Reduce the distraction of peer pressure related to dress
- Emphasize what truly matters – character, actions, and learning – rather than outward appearance
- Identify and distinguish them from outsiders, making it more difficult for unauthorized individuals to enter our campus
- Demonstrate respect for themselves, their peers, their teachers, and their God
- Provide a consistently well-ordered and cohesive appearance across our student body
- Simplify daily decisions for themselves and their parents
The uniform is our first impression to others and should reflect the respect and honor of being part of the Academy family.
Parents are expected to actively support Academy uniform requirements and students are expected to arrive dressed in the appropriate attire for the day. Parents should train their children to not only wear the appropriate uniform, but also to wear it well.
The administration alone is responsible for the determination of the policy, and the enforcement of the policy is the responsibility of parents, administration, faculty, and staff.
