The Lordship of Jesus Christ extends to every facet of a believer’s life

Recognizing this, the administration of Temple Academy and our athletic department seek to glorify Christ by embracing an athletic philosophy that is consistent with His character and will.

Each member of the coaching staff has a personal testimony of saving faith in Christ and is committed to imitating Christ through their words and actions at all times. It is our goal that the athletes for whom we are accountable may trust Christ and grow in wisdom and knowledge of Him.

Our student-athletes will be taught a godly concept of success. While winning the contest is the object of planning and preparation for both coach and athlete, it cannot be the sole measure of our success. Loyalty, servanthood, respect for authority, faithfulness, and determination must also be criteria by which we measure true success.

Doing our best is far more important than being the best. The Scriptures instructs us that whatever we seek to do, we are to do it with all our heart and for our Lord Himself.
