A thoroughly biblical philosophy lies at the heart of Temple Academy. It is our privilege to come alongside parents to assist them in obeying God’s command to develop the mind of Christ in their child. Every subject is immersed in a biblical worldview because all truth is God’s truth. Our teachers work daily to show their students the eternal truth God has embedded in every lesson.

Temple Academy is accredited by Cognia and affiliated with the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS), which has achieved corporate accreditation through Cognia.

Temple Academy is also a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). Academy students regularly bring home numerous academic awards from annual regional, state, and national competitions.

3. Educational Facilities

The Academy is housed in over 50,000 square feet of facilities. Through our advancement program, designated areas of the school are updated and remodeled each year.

The Academy enforces a “no tolerance” policy regarding the use of alcohol and illicit drugs by our students. A trained and certified security office is on campus during the school day and our campus is patrolled during the night. Our faculty members continue to undergo training so that they can responding properly to emergency situations. A comprehensive campus security plan is in place and is reviewed on an ongoing basis.

7. Full Range of Course Offerings

The Academy offers multiple academic options including dual credit courses through our partnership with Crown College. Tutoring is also available for students needing additional assistance.

9. Championship Athletic Tradition

The Academy sponsors teams in a full range of interscholastic sports at the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels. Both boys’ and girls’ teams have won numerous state championship titles across various sports.

Girls’ sports include volleyball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, and cheerleading. Boys’ sports include soccer, basketball, cross-country, and baseball.

The lower school sponsors a variety of intramural sports that give students the opportunity to compete and build athletic skills.

10. Distinctively Christian Fine Arts Training

The Academy offers artistic opportunities from K5 through 12th grade through choirs, small choral groups & ensembles, vocal and instrumental solos, bands and orchestra.
