Increasing in

Wisdom

"Education is fundamentally religious...there is no question about whether a morality will be imposed in that education, but rather which morality will be imposed.”

Douglas Wilson

Prepare your child for all the next steps in life!

At Temple Academy, we will help you instill in your child a love of learning, build a solid spiritual foundation, create a network of teachers and friends, and challenge them to discover and grow the gifts and talents that God has made uniquely theirs.

Hands-on learning is encouraged at all grade levels, with problem-solving and critical thinking taking place both in and out of the classroom. Our academics are enriched with fine arts and athletic programs.

Rooted in a developing biblical worldview, the result is a well-rounded student prepared for the purposeful pursuit of God Himself, the rigor of college and career, the establishment of a Christ-honoring home, and a dedication to lifelong learning.

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."

Luke 2:52

Did you know?

Kinder Prep

Age 4

As the parent of a preschooler, you're probably a bit anxious about their transition to a classroom environment. Can they be still long enough to learn? What about sharing with others and taking turns? Will they work on recognizing their letters and numbers?  Will they have time to have fun? What will they learn about God and His Word?  Kinder Prep at Temple is an environment where your child will be both nurtured and supported.

Lower School

Grades 1-5

The early years in school set the foundation for future learning and development. That’s why you want your child to be in a school where they will be known, loved, and valued daily for their unique gifts and strengths, as well as those areas that call for a little extra attention.

An outstanding lower school experience will allow them to build upon what they’ve learned as they journey through middle and upper school. In lower school @ Temple, your child will receive that academic, physical, social and spiritual foundation.

Middle School

Grades 6-8

The middle school years can be intimidating for both you and your child. It’s probably the stage of life with the most significant transition and development. The values your child learns at home that are reinforced at school will influence them powerfully and permanently as they mature and grow.

You want them to flourish socially as well as be challenged academically, trained physically, and strengthened spiritually. Middle school @ Temple will help you ensure that the values your child embraces mirror your own.

Fine Arts

Our fine arts program identifies and develops students’ abilities while providing them with many opportunities to use them in worship and service to Christ. Students use their gifts during extracurricular events throughout the school year, in competitions with other schools around the state, and even earn the opportunity to compete on a national level.

Academy students have won multiple individual and group state and national titles in music, speech, and art. Our debate team is a three-time AACS national champion.

Music

Our students have opportunities and encouragement to develop their musical gifts for the glory of God. Throughout the year, students involved in our vocal and instrumental ensembles minister in a variety of locations such as area assisted living centers, the services of Temple Baptist Church, the Academy Christmas program, and in other community venues.

Speech & Debate

Students have the opportunity to - compete in debate and other interpretative speaking events. Competitive speech teaches students to think carefully, to respond wisely to opposing viewpoints, and to effectively communicate what they believe. Our Academy debate teams have been extremely successful, winning four straight state championships and three consecutive national titles.

Drama

For many of our students, drama can be an enjoyable and memorable part of thei middle and upper school experience, as they gain confidence in speaking and working as a team. Dramatic productions also give other interested students a chance to work behind the scenes.

Visual Arts

Our students are enthusiastically engaged in creating and displaying artwork under the guidance of a talented and caring teacher. Weekly art classes encourage lower school students to be creative through the use of many different techniques and materials. Students participate in the annual TACS state art competition, and in local and regional contests, as well.
