Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s...

Jesus grew in a balanced way without neglecting any part of His life. In Luke 2:52, He was set forth as a perfect model that every child should desire to imitate.

Christ grew and developed in physical maturity. Although He came into the world as God in the flesh, He had to grow like any other child. Little is said of His early years, but we know He grew into manhood. Jesus was most likely trained as a carpenter, like Joseph (Mark 6:3), so He engaged in physical labor.

In this sedentary society, many children do not grow physically because they do not engage in vigorous activity that produces physical growth and development. Parents should teach their children the importance of physical exertion in promoting to physical growth and development.

At Temple, your child will receive physical instruction that will enable him to train, protect, respect, and use his body as the temple of the living God.

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
