Dedicated Teachers

“I attended Temple Baptist Academy from the time I was four years old until I graduated in 2008. I was ready for the classes in the engineering field because of the dedication of my teachers at Temple. I am grateful for all the time and prayer that was invested in my life by the faculty while I was at the academy.”

College Preparation

“While at Temple High School, the teachers helped prepare our classes for when we would go to college. Several classes that we took in high school were some of the same classes that I took in college, so this helped me already have a basic understanding for college-level material.”

Christian Influence

My wife and I are both thankful for the influence Temple Baptist Academy has had on our lives. I have watched two brothers, three sister-in-laws, and now my own daughter grow up under the influence of the same academy. I can say the Lord truly blessed our family when he led us to Temple.

Bible-Based Curriculum

“I am grateful for the eternal investment that my parents made to send me and my sisters to Temple Baptist Academy.  The influence of the teachers and emphasis of Bible-based curriculum brought me to an awareness of God’s  presence and my personal accountability to Him.”

Shared Faith

“I have the opportunity to work with outstanding students and faculty in the College of Education at Lipscomb University. I can share my passion for teaching and learning – focusing on more than academics. While at Temple, the teachers went out of their way to assist students in their learning and shared their faith with us. I will always be grateful to them and want to model their examples with my graduate students.”

Procedures

Temple Baptist Academy was founded in 1971 as a ministry of the Temple Baptist Church. For over forty years, the Academy has existed to encourage families desiring to fulfill the biblical mandate to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The goal of Christian education is to develop the mind of Christ in each student. The purpose of the Academy is to support the family and the work of the local church. Temple Baptist Academy believes and teaches the essential doctrines of the Christian faith as embraced by the historic, biblical, Baptist position.

Parents agreeing with this philosophy and seeking admission for their children to theAcademy should proceed with the following:

NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY AS TO STUDENTS:
Temple Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
